C. Robert Humphreys, MS, DC

Dr. Humphreys is an esteemed Professor, Basic and Clinical Sciences. He graduated summa cum laude from the National College of Chiropractic in April 1984. He obtained his diplomate in neurology in August, 1995.
Dr. Humphreys taught Biology, Zoology, Anatomy & Physiology, Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy, and Microbiology at Rio Grande College (now the University of Rio Grande) in southeastern Ohio for eight years. He holds a master’s in science from Kent State University (1972) in Kent, Ohio and a bachelor of arts (1968) from Nasson College in Springvale, Maine. He is licensed to practice chiropractic in Illinois, Ohio, Virginia and Florida.
In addition, Dr. Humphreys began intensive studies in Tai Chi in 1979 at the School of Tai Chi Chuan in New York City, which has a direct lineage through Patrick Watson to Professor Chen Man Ching. Dr. Humphreys has taught Tai Chi at NUHS and other venues since 1985.
